Tow Truck Driver

Reports to:

Operations manager

Position summary:

Working within fatigue management guidelines, you will perform Intra & Interstate tow truck duties whilst adhering to all WH&S, legislative, site and contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities:

• Strong understanding and commitment to safety
• Liaising with customers with a friendly and professional attitude
• Understanding of load restraint as per National Load Restraint Guidelines
• Completion of all paperwork on time and in fullDriving in a time-sensitive environment
• Refuelling and maintaining cleanliness of allocated equipment
• Promptly report any mechanical faults, delivery issues or delays
• Reading and following procedures and relevant work instructions
• Competencies and experience required:
• Minimum of 12 months safe driving record
• Mature attitude, pride in the safe operation and presentation of equipment
• Minimum 2 years’ experience MC endorsed
• Minimum Age 25 years
• Proficiency in all aspects of Tow truck operations & Truck & Dog & B Double operation
• A clear understanding of road transport legislation & mass axle weights
• A clean history of driving ability
